Summary of Role

The Account Manager is responsible for managing relationships with existing customers and acquiring new customers in France & Belgium. This role supports the development of the sales plan, including volume, revenue, and margin targets, and monitors customer and product profitability.

Tasks & Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a sales- and account plans that aligns with Packit’s overall objectives.
  • Drive sales through effective relationship management and new customer acquisition.
  • Oversee sales and margin growth for assigned accounts and channels.
  • Ensure adherence to price and payment agreements with assigned customers.
  • Address and resolve customer issues promptly and effectively.
  • Propose and develop new products and activities for assigned customers and channels.
  • Collaborate with the Marketing Department to create category strategies for current and future market activities.
  • Engage in various project groups and consultations.
  • Contribute to the optimal functioning of the commercial organisation.

Skills & Knowledge

  • Experience in the French Retail markets is a must.
  • Fluent proficiency in French is essential (both verbal and in writing), preferably also Dutch, and English proficiency.
  • Strong Negotiator, capable of fostering long-term relationships.
  • Thinks in terms of opportunities and possibilities.
  • Proficient in all phases of sales.
  • Mastery of presentation techniques.
  • Possesses a pragmatic and proactive working attitude.
  • Understands cost pricing, margins, and CAPs.
  • Ability to think conceptually and analytically.
  • High self-starting ability with an entrepreneurial mindset.
  • Basic understanding of automated systems.
