\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tAccording to Simon, this can-do mentality has helped Van der Mark transport develop into a crucial link in the global logistics chain. Simon has been at the helm of the family business, which has been active since 1910, as the fourth generation since 2000. The fifth generation has now also joined in the persons of Tom and Patricia van der Mark.\nSimon continues his story: “My great-grandfather started with a dog cart in 1910, and today we have grown into a full-service logistics provider. We not only handle international transport but also complete warehousing. From storage and repackaging to order picking and documentation.”\n“Hence our slogan,” Patricia adds. “Logical in logistics represents our way of working: Completely relieving the customer of worry. The logistics chain is a complex series of planning, transport, and communication. We ensure all steps seamlessly connect. Just throw it over the fence, and we’ll handle it.” \n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tSimon: “The transport world is always in motion. Of course, we move with the times too. We build on the good from the past with today’s modern tools. I’ve known Leen for years. In 2015, he took over Packit with ITH Complast. The transport provider at the time wasn’t interested in taking over the activities from Wijchen. We were, and that became the beginning of a great partnership in 2016. One thing led to another. Packit grew steadily. We grew along with them AND gave the company room to grow, with various storage locations, together providing over 28 thousand pallet spaces.”\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

All these developments have led to the next step in the partnership: Van der Mark is building a new distribution center in Puttershoek of no less than 20,000m2, including office space for Packit. The relocation is planned for the end of 2026.
Simon says: “This was arranged in a week. We do a lot together, so it was a logical choice for us to sit down with Packit. There wasn’t a moment of doubt. You see; a good partnership isn’t just important, it’s also very enjoyable.” <\/p>

According to Patricia, centralizing the logistics activities means a substantial efficiency improvement. “Currently, we still drive between different locations to collect the freight. Fewer links mean more efficient planning, faster throughput times, and better overview. For Packit’s customers, this will mean even more flexibility and even higher delivery reliability. Together we’re ready for the future.” <\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t
