Doing it the Packit way

An answer to every question

General

To ensure quality and reliability, Packit exclusively works with suppliers who hold recognized certifications such as GFSI, ISO, Smeta, and BSCI.
Packit is working towards a sustainable future by staying ahead of changes in laws and regulations, such as the EUDR (deforestation-free supply chains) and PPWR (Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation). Additionally, we adhere to the VSME standard (Voluntary Sustainability Reporting Standard) to make our sustainability efforts transparent and verifiable. Our approach is based on the principles of Reuse, Reduce, and Recycle: -Reuse: resealable bags and sturdy shoppers are specially designed for repeated use. -Reduce: the focus is on reducing material usage. -Recycle: recyclable materials are used and recycled materials are incorporated. This ensures our products and processes meet new European requirements in a timely manner and we fully support customers in their sustainable transition.
Packit is a family business, with Leen Paardekooper as CEO.

Paper does not ignite at a temperature of 220 °C. However, it is important that the paper does not make direct contact with the heating element – in ovens, this is often located at the top or bottom, and in air fryers in the upper unit. Additionally, ensure that paper cannot be drawn in by air currents, for example when opening the oven door or when a loose sheet is placed in an empty air fryer.
Biodegradable bags are just as strong as regular plastic bags during normal use. However, when they become too old, they lose their elasticity and tear more easily. This is similar to paper. Therefore, store bio bags in a cool, dry, and dark place to maintain their quality.
When using aluminum foil, it’s important to unroll the foil evenly across its entire width. Once the foil tears, it becomes difficult to unroll it neatly. Try to be patient and avoid using sharp objects – this often makes the situation worse. Keep the foil in its box while unrolling, as this protects the roll and prevents tearing at the edges.
Length + width * height / 1,000
Dimensions on product. Length + width of the bucket determines the width of the required bag.
When using the lens cleaning wipes, ensure the wipe is moist. Make sure there is no dust on your glasses beforehand, as this can cause scratches during cleaning. To ensure the wipes are suitable for your glasses, please consult your optician. Do not dry wipe your glasses with a dry lens cleaning wipe.

That is, of course, not the intention, and it’s unfortunate that this happens! Bio-waste bags are made from biodegradable material and have a limited shelf life of about one year. If the bag has been in the store for a long time, the decomposition process may have already started. What can you do? Contact the store where you purchased the bag. They can check how long the product has been in stock and possibly assist you further.Tip: Store bio-bags in a dry, cool place and use them within the shelf life. This will prevent them from falling apart prematurely. Find inspiration here: https://www.dumil.nl/nl/tips-tricks/alles-wat-jij-wilt-weten-over-biozakken
