How a marketing internship at Packit became more than just work experience
An internship is often a first introduction to the professional field. But at Packit, it is more than that. Here, it is about personal growth, teamwork, and enjoying what you do. This was also experienced by Bodhi Snoek, a student of Tourism, Leisure & Marketing in Breda. For five months, she joined the marketing department at Packit – a recognized training company that takes students seriously and involves them in the work. “I not only learned here, but I also laughed here.”
Since April 2025, Bodhi Snoek interned in Packit’s marketing department. As a Tourism, Leisure & Marketing student at De Rooi Pannen in Breda, she deliberately chose a company where she could truly take part. And she succeeded. “I wanted to gain practical experience in an environment where I could be myself. At Packit, I felt welcome from day one.”
A Warm Welcome and a Flying Start
Since February 2025, Packit has been a recognized training company. This means that students receive a safe, educational, and professional internship placement here. Bodhi: “I was immediately involved in meetings, gained insight into strategy and brand positioning, and was able to contribute ideas for Packit’s new branding. That made me feel that my input mattered.”
Learning by Doing
During her five months at Packit, Bodhi performed a wide range of marketing tasks. “From developing content to analyzing customer behavior. I learned how to establish a brand, how to collaborate in a team, and how to understand business processes. It was an enriching period during which I gained a lot of practical experience.”

A Culture That Works
What Bodhi appreciates most about Packit? The culture. “It’s informal here, yet professional. Everyone is approachable, and there’s room for a joke. At the same time, serious work is done on great projects. This balance makes working here very pleasant.”
Highlight: The 50th Anniversary Packit GALA
“One of the most enjoyable experiences during my internship was co-organizing the 50th Anniversary Packit GALA on May 17, together with my colleague Suzanne. It was special to experience such a large anniversary celebration up close and to see how colleagues, clients, and family came together. Everything was perfect: the location, the atmosphere, the speeches, and the party. I am proud to have contributed to this!”
Guidance with Care
Her internship supervisor at Packit, Patrick Zevenbergen, played an important role in her development. “Patrick gave me trust, but also clear feedback. That helped me grow, both professionally and personally.” Her school supervisor, Ms. N. Fens-Mensen, was also closely involved in monitoring her progress.
An 8.5 and a Backpack Full of Experience
Bodhi’s final internship assessment is impressive: an 8.5. “Bodhi is a radiant young woman with a professional demeanor,” according to her supervisor. “She is eager to learn, easily approachable, and always willing to go the extra mile. Planning and focus are still areas for development, but she is a colleague you would be happy to have on your team.”
After her successful internship at Packit, Bodhi departed for Valencia for her next adventure. “I am taking everything I learned here with me. Packit has not only helped me expand my knowledge but also to grow as a person.”
