What will you do?
As a Supply Chain Planner, you and the team are responsible for managing our assortment. The goal is to achieve the most optimal stock level possible for every item, so that we can guarantee perfect delivery to our customers. Your activities include:
- Monitoring our inventory
- Timely ordering of stock from our European and Asian suppliers
- Monitoring the progress of orders with our suppliers, where it is important to identify bottlenecks in a timely manner and share them with our sales department
- Maintaining contact with our forwarders to ensure trucks and containers depart on time
- The associated operations in our systems
What do we expect from you?
You find it a challenge to achieve the most optimal and efficient planning possible together with our suppliers. You enjoy the international nature of the job. Furthermore, you recognize yourself in the following profile:
- Higher professional education (HBO) level of thinking and working, and at least 3 years of work experience in similar positions within the supply chain
- Knowledge of sea freight and the associated administration for importing goods (knowledge of road transport is a plus)
- Preferably familiar with customs clearance of goods.
- Proficiency in the Dutch and English languages
- Ability to work with ERP and/or inventory support systems; knowledge of Slim4 is a major advantage
- Strong communication skills, accurate, and a highly developed analytical capacity
