Broadening horizons
Manon explains: “A commercial position wasn’t available at the time, but broadening your horizons can never hurt. That’s why I started in 2016 as an inventory management employee. But you can’t fight your true calling. So when a position opened up in Commercial Internal Sales two years later, I seized my chance. And I’m still here, as an Account Support employee, and I still enjoy it very much.”

Truly together
Manon supports the Account Managers. “From quotation to order processing, I handle the entire process from start to finish. I coordinate with various departments within Packit. This way, you learn from each other’s work and gain more insight into and understanding of the entire process. Multiple people work on one account. Everyone from their own expertise, but truly together. This allows you to understand what your colleague’s role entails. You don’t just see your colleague’s output, but also their work process. And in my case, I’ve literally experienced the other side. I think this broader scope works very enlightening and ensures smooth process flow. We’re well-coordinated. This also contributes to a positive customer experience.”
Family feeling
According to Manon, the close bond with colleagues is the main reason she has been working at Packit for so long. “It feels like family. Take the COVID period, for example, when we all had to work from home. That was so boring. We really helped each other through it. Precisely because you have such a good relationship with colleagues, it becomes easier to take on challenges. But exactly because you have such a good bond as colleagues, everything always works out. Personally, I also experience a lot of space and freedom in my role. You get a lot of responsibility. I honestly find that quite exciting sometimes, but I greatly appreciate the trust I receive.”
Never boring
Finally, Manon notes that it’s never boring at Packit. Both internally and certainly with our customers. Retail is always in motion, and therefore we never stand still. There’s always something happening.
