A transparent baseline as a foundation
Packit achieved a score of 59/100 during this first assessment and received the ‘Committed’ badge for this result. For Packit, this assessment serves as a strategic baseline measurement. Anneke van der Meijs, Senior QA specialist at Packit, explains: “You can only improve in a targeted way if you know exactly where you stand. The ‘Committed’ badge is proof of our willingness to be transparent about our performance and our ambition to step-by-step increase our positive impact in the retail chain. This first score helps us determine the focus areas for the coming years.”
“You can only make targeted improvements when you know exactly where you stand. The ‘Committed’ badge is proof of our willingness to be transparent about our performance and our ambition to incrementally increase our positive impact within the retail chain. This initial score helps us determine our focus areas for the coming years.”

Transparency in the supply chain
EcoVadis is a leading international platform that assesses the sustainability performance (ESG/CSR) of companies based on environment, labor and human rights, ethics, and sustainable procurement. The EcoVadis score (0-100) reflects the quality of a company’s sustainability management system at the time of the assessment. This internationally recognized sustainability score confirms that we have a demonstrable ESG and supply chain management system and that we meet the growing demands from retailers, governments, and the international supply chain.
Sustainable business
The EcoVadis assessment not only helps us to further structure processes but also to anchor sustainability more emphatically in the way we do business. Anneke: “While laws and regulations form an important foundation, we simultaneously see this as an opportunity to contribute more broadly to a future-proof retail chain.”
Packit is therefore determined to further increase the score in the coming years by further optimizing processes and minimizing the impact on the entire value chain. We are initially focusing on the use of suitable and sustainable materials, appropriate to the function of the product and the actual phase of use.
