Quality Control & Assurance
Quality isn’t just a checkbox at the end, but a continuous process. At Packit, a team of professionals is dedicated daily to controlling and monitoring the quality of products, processes, and systems. We assess quality at various levels: from specifications, traceability, and documentation to product quality, performance, and sustainability.
We perform physical (incoming) inspections and examine and analyze products in our own laboratory. Our employees also test the products themselves. We only sell products that we fully stand behind. Additionally, we collaborate with external accredited laboratories for independent product testing. That’s our and your assurance of a product meeting all quality requirements.

Quality is a shared responsibility
We look beyond our own performance to the entire value chain. That’s why we maintain strategic partnerships with our suppliers. For instance, we conduct joint audits and share test reports and data. This ensures greater efficiency, reduces risks, and stimulates innovation.
Our presence with a local representative in the Far East also contributes to quality assurance. The agent can perform on-site product inspections, take samples, and monitor production processes. In case of deviations, there is a quick response, and solutions are sought together with the supplier. This prevents subsequent rework, costly delays, and the entry of faulty products into the market, thereby avoiding unnecessary transport movements and CO2 emissions.

Q in sustainability
Quality as a catalyst for sustainability
Quality is also about sustainability. In fact, it’s a logical foundation for sustainability. Safety, responsibility, risk management, and traceability: topics that also touch on environmental, social policy, and governance (ESG). We are committed to these aspects, both within our internal organization and throughout the chain.
We report our sustainability efforts according to VSME, meeting the CSRD requirements of major retailers as a chain partner. In SMETA, we request ‘Level Green’ and aim for a BSCI B-rating from all our suppliers. We’re not there yet, but we encourage our partners to achieve this B-score. We believe this is the future. Just like the upcoming EUDR and PPWR. But how do you prepare for something complex and still in development? Simply by doing, as we always do. Together with suppliers and customers.
