What will you do? Your role.
As HSEQ Coordinator, you ensure that our products, processes, and suppliers meet all quality requirements, laws, regulations, and certification standards. You are the link between our internal organization, customers, suppliers, auditors, and other external parties.
- You answer daily customer inquiries and internal and external emails regarding quality, safety, and compliance.
- Together with the HSEQ Manager, you prepare and supervise internal and external audits and inspections.
- You contribute to compliance with laws and regulations such as EUDR, PPWR, REACH, EURLEX 1935/2004, and EURLEX 10/2011, as well as local legislation (including NL, DE, FR, UK).
- You assist in maintaining certifications such as BRCGS, ISO 9001, ISO 14001, FSC, BSCI, SMETA, and GRS.
- You handle complex issues in collaboration with QC and the HSEQ Manager and translate them into practical solutions.
- You work in a close-knit HSEQ team where short lines of communication, ownership, and achieving results together are central.
Your main responsibilities
- Requesting, assessing, and managing documentation from supplier evaluations, such as BOMs, product specifications, declarations, migration tests, and audit reports.
- Checking whether suppliers meet quality, safety, and legal requirements and initiating actions in case of missing or outdated information.
- Coordinating the validation and verification of existing and new processes and following up on resulting actions.
- Initiating and following up on CAP actions resulting from internal and external audits, both internally and with suppliers.
- Supporting recalls, incidents, and annual tests, including recording, analyzing, and following up on deviations and areas for improvement.
- Requesting customer-specific analyses and following up on results, including translation into improvement measures or additional safeguards.
- In this way, you make a direct contribution to safe, compliant, and sustainable solutions for our customers throughout Europe.
Who are you?
You are someone who works accurately, switches quickly between files and projects, and is energized by understanding laws and regulations. You feel comfortable in the role of sparring partner for colleagues and suppliers and enjoy continuously improving processes.
You recognize yourself in the following:
- Vocational (Mbo+) or higher professional (Hbo) level of education and thinking, preferably in the field of quality, chemistry, food technology, or similar.
- Several years of experience in an HSEQ, QA, or compliance role within a production, packaging, logistics, or industrial environment.
- Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations (including REACH, product and food contact materials, Health and Safety Act, environmental legislation) and an affinity for European and local regulations.
- Experience with supplier documentation, audits, and setting up/managing product and supplier files (DoCs, technical files, certificates).
- Good command of Dutch and English, both spoken and written; German or French is a plus.

- You work accurately and in a structured manner, maintaining a clear overview.
- You communicate clearly with colleagues, customers, and suppliers.
