No two days are the same
“When I first arrived here through a recruitment agency, the focus was on sales. But over the years, my role has grown organically alongside the needs of the company,” Sander explains. This was no coincidence, as his background includes a ‘Logistics Supervisor’ qualification. He is now the primary contact for operational support for Action.
Additionally, he assisted in the implementation of Exact Online. “I had experience with the system from my previous employer, and I enjoy devising solutions to improve process efficiency. No two days are the same here. That makes the work challenging and varied.”
The link between system and road
Sander is a vital link in the logistics process for Action. Every week, he processes approximately 130 trucks. He schedules these, communicates with carriers, and monitors whether every delivery arrives correctly and on time. “Our customers place enormous value on reliability. I see it as my mission to ensure that every order is delivered correctly and on schedule. If something does go wrong? I address it immediately and we resolve it.”
To provide even more value, a German language course is planned for the future to streamline communication with international carriers. According to Sander, there is no shortage of growth opportunities.
Small team, big impact
What makes Packit unique, according to Sander, is the ratio between the size of the team and the results they achieve. “People sometimes have no idea what happens here in Oud-Beijerland.
